With the end of royal dictatorial rule on April 24, 2006, Nepal has
begun to
deal with a solution of her constitutional crisis and the Maoist
insurgency.
This means that this section from now on only contains links that
directy have
to do with this process. Other links have again been included in the
political and
other subsites as it was praticed before February 1, 2005.
After the conclusion of the peace treaty on November 21, 2006, this special section on the crisis in Nepal that has been started with the finalization of the royal coup of February 1, 2005, has been closed. Beginning with December 1, 2006, it has been replaced by a new section that has to deal with the hard task of building up a new and inclusive Nepal which is the only way that can lead to a solution of the crisis.
